Acoustic guitar in a black hard case lined in purple. The headstock carries the gold “C.F. Martin & Co.” script and, beneath it, “EST. 1833.” The top is light-colored, with a dark pickguard, a dark bridge, and dot inlays. The model and serial number, which Martin stamps on the neck block, were not photographed. Until that stamp is read, the guitar is not dated.
